Breakfast with Levi!

Our little princess turned 18 months on March 6! We spent a wonderful day celebrating including a trip to Trotter's Bakery and Cafe for breakfast with friends, a morning at storytime at Choo Choo Bob's, and an afternoon playing with neighborhood buddies at the playground! We had a beautiful day with 55 degree weather! It was perfect!!! :-) Enjoy the pics!
The day after her 18 month we headed to the doctor for our check-up and Addison was super tough through her 1 shot....no tears for the first time ever! :-) It must be that she is getting older! :-) She is still a little peanut, but growing nonetheless! She now weighs 23 lbs 3 ounces, and is 30 3/4 inches long. She remains right around that 20-25th percentile growth curve...we may have a petite little girl on our hands! :-)
So, what else have we been up to?.....TALKING and SINGING! Addison is now up to about 40 or so words...the other morning I sat and counted, and plan to make a list for keepsake....thought it would be fun to look back on someday! She is also singing a ton! The other night when we put her down she spent about 30 minutes lying on her back practicing her finger plays and singing.....Noah and I kept peaking through the door because we couldn't handle the cuteness! :-) I only wish my video camera could have captured it through the dimly lit room!
We are starting to think about the potty a little more....and are planning to gradually introduce this new concept. Addison has started pretty consistently telling us when she goes "poo-poo," so we bought a potty chair and decided that if we can catch it we'll start showing her where the potty actually goes! Nothing too strict at this point, but if she is starting to identify it, we feel it might be time! :-)
The last couple weeks have been full of enjoying playdates with Addison's little friends, starting to attend a neighborhood playgroup at Corner Coffee on Wednesday afternoons, continuing with music class, and spending as much time as possible outdoors! We've been practicing walking outside on the sidewalks and learning about cars and stoplights....she is so proud of herself! :-)
