Just chill'in with my ball in my chair!
Where has the time gone??!!! It is already April 4th and almost a month past my last post!
Addison has had a busy month!
We have been enjoying the warmer weather with tons of time walking outside with Wally, and running around the playground! Addison loves to walk along the river and go on the bumpy slide and swing at the park. We spend most afternoons outside these days!
On cooler days we have ventured to Williston Park a couple of times for the indoor climbing equipment and the splash pad-so much fun! Our friends Ali and Levi introduced us to this fun place. Addison loves the turtle that spits water and the water slide! We have also been back to Choo Choo Bobs for storytime and more train table play again! Addison really enjoys choo-choos these days! We also still have our music class at McPhail on Mondays and our regular neighborhood playgroup on Wednesday afternoons. Definitely staying busy!
Addison is talking up a storm.....at her 18 month birthday I made a list of her 40 or so words, and it has already grown! She is so proud of her new vocabulary, and it definitely makes life easier to understand her needs! :-) Some of Addison's favorite words are "trees" and "shoes" lately....on our walks outside she identifies each tree as we pass by-hysterical!
As a family we have been busy with a few birthday parties for friends, barbeques with friends, a date night for mommy and daddy, and family visiting!
Opa and Jojo just left this morning after spending the past 4 days here with us! Addison had so much fun showing off her new tricks and they loved watching very minute of it! :-) Wally also enjoyed having his brother, Lager, in town!
Addison met a huge milestone on Sunday morning! She has been sitting on her potty seat regularly (whenever she asks) as practice lately, but nothing productive had happened until........Sunday morning she said "poo-poo" and amazingly enough she actually performed when I placed her on the seat! Of course, we were all so excited that we carried on for at least 10 minutes in the bathroom!!!
Enjoy the pictures from the last few weeks!!! and I promise to be better in the next couple of months at updating the blog! :-)
